Correctional Officer Manuel "Manny" Gonzalez CIM, California Correctional Officer Gonzalez was assaulted by an inmate on 1/10/05 while performing his duties in the unit. Officer Gonzalez died from multiple stab wounds later at the hospital. He is survived by his parents Manuel and Bertha Gonzalez, his sons Mark, Steven, Little Manuel and Gustavo; his daughters Roxanna and Jessica, his fiancee' Tonia Cuadra; brother David, sister Rosalinda, and a very large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
