Correctional Officer Clyde A. Broughman – July 21, 2006 – Virginia Department of Corrections. Correctional Officer Broughman was killed in a vehicle accident while in route to pick up kitchen equipment for the Department. His vehicle collided with a tractor trailer. Officer Broughman is survived by his wife Shirley, one daughter Ann P. Richmond, son Clyde A. Broughman Jr., and stepdaughter Lisa D. Gross.
