Correctional Counselor Ronald Richardson

District of Columbia Department of Corrections Correctional Counselor Ronald Richardson was gunned down on October 7, 1991 as he was about to enter his car parked near the side of his home. He was shot 15 times. Counselor Richardson was scheduled to appear as a witness in a hostage-taking and drug case. He is survived by his wife Roxanne, daughters Rhonda and Lonzine, and son Roy. Roxanne Richardson has been a staunch friend of the CPO Foundation since Project 2000 IV in 1993 at which Memorial Service her husband was honored. Roxanne Richardson frequently returns to Project when it takes place in Washington, D.C. She spoke at the Sunday Prayer Breakfast at Project 2000 VIII in 1997.
