Correctional Sergeant Timothy Parsley Lewis Unit, Texas Texas Department of Criminal Justice- Institutional Division Correctional Sergeant Timothy Parsley worked at the Lewis Unit of the TDCJ-ID. At the age of 39, he died at home in the early hours of October 1, 1996 after a day involving an unusually large number of tense and life-threatening inmate altercations requiring Sergeant Parsley’s direct intervention and action. He is survived by his wife Tammy, son Timothy Jr. and daughter Emily.
