Probation/Parole Specialist Gerald Moberly Louisiana Division of Probation and Parole, Louisiana Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections Division of Adult Probation and Parole Probation/Parole Specialist Gerald Wayne Moberly was killed on October 23, 1990 from multiple shot wounds while attempting to arrest a parole violator. Age 44 at the time of his death, Specialist Moberly had served for five years in the Louisiana Division of Probation and Parole. He is survived by his wife Betty Jo, sons John and Douglas, and niece Jessica.
