Correctoinal Corporal Wayne Martinez Maximum Security Unit Wayoming State Penitentiary, Wyoming Wyoming Department of Corrections Corrections Corporal Wayne Martinez was stabbed to death on June 26, 1997 during an attempted prison break at the maximum security unit of Wyoming State Penitentiary. Corporal Martinez had worked at Wyoming State Penitentiary since 1990. He is survived by his wife Jessica and their five children: Nina Marie, Alexandra Quintana, Deseree, and twins Aleesha and Christopher.
