Sheriff's Deputy Allen Lipford Johnson County Sheriff's Department, Tennessee Sheriffs Deputy Allen Lipford of the Johnson County, Tennessee Sheriffs Department was killed in the line of duty on December 11, 1991. Deputy Lipford, 26, was fatally shot in the had by an inmate attempting to escape from the County Jail. Deputy Lipford head served his Department for eight years. He is survived by his wife Lisa, daughter Allena, five siblings and his parents.
