Correctional Sergeant Scott Grimes Tucker Maximum Security Unit, Arkansas Arkansas Department of Corrections Correctional Sergeant Scott Grimes was murdered on November 29, 1995 at Tucker Maximum Security Unit. While escorting an inmate out of ADSEG to the shower area, another inmate kicked open the cell door to assault the inmate in Sergeant Grimes’ custody. Sergeant Grimes was stabbed to death by the attacking inmate. Besides his wife Susie, Sergeant Grimes is survived by five daughters and two brothers. Susie Grimes became the CPO Foundation’s Representative in Arkansas in 1996. Strongly supported by the Arkansas DOC and often working closely with Debbie Herklotz and Robbie Farquhar, Susie is an eloquent and exemplary Representative. Additionally, the Grimes family participates in every annual Project 2000 event. Daughters Robyn and Rebecca in particular are very involved and active members of the Project 2000 “Teen Corps.”
