Correctional Officerb Thomas Davis Jr. Mansfield Correctional Institution, Ohio Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Correctional Officer Thomas Davis, Jr. was stabbed to death by an inmate on June 26, 1992. Officer Davis worked at Mansfield Correctional Institution. He was 47 at the time of his death. Officer Davis was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his former wife Lisa Cline, daughters Jesusra and Genevieve, four sisters and two brothers.
