Food Service Supervisor Gay Carter Dick Conner Correctional Center, Hominy, Oklahoma Oklahoma Department of Corrections Food Services Supervisor Gay Carter of the Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, Oklahoma was stabbed to death by an inmate on November 13, 1998. Supervisor Carter was 58 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Carter, who also works at the prison; her son, Chad Carter; her sisters; Judy Marrs, Charlene Zeller and June Prater, who also works at the prison; and two brothers, Roy Westbrook and Larry Young.
