Agricultural Unit Supervisor Travis Best Tucker Unit, Tucker, Arkansas Arkansas Department of Correction Agricultural Unit Supervisor Travis Best of Tucker Unit, Tucker, Arkansas was killed in a vehicle accident on August 11, 1999. The Department of Correction van that Supervisor Best was driving was involved in a head-on collision and he died from the injuries he sustained. He was 59 years old and had spent 15 years with the Arkansas Department of Correction. Supervisor Best was like a "big brother" and loved by his friends and coworkers. He was always the first to offer help when someone was in need. His mechanical skills were appreciated whenever there was something that needed to be repaired. Supervisor Best had a great sense of humor and cherished his family. He also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Supervisor Best is survived by his wife, and their five children, and his sister.
