Correctional Officer Kara Sue Fador Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, Ohio Pickaway Correctional Institution – Orient After responding to an “officer down” alarm, Correctional Officer Kara Fador suffered a sudden fatal cardiac arrest. Responding staff and medical help came to her assistance and she was med-flighted out of the compound. She died the next day due to the severity of the cardiac arrest. Correctional Officer Fador is survived by her parents Michael and Bonita Fador.
